This isn’t too bad considering that I expected that Custom Skin Tones would break the entire UI / Game. Even though there’s now a huge selection of Skin Tones already present in the game, Custom Skin Tones that have been created before the new update won’t show up in the Skin Tones User Interface. When it comes to Custom Skin Tones he explained that…well…they’re not there. Specifically – all the Custom Skin Tones and Makeup. I’ve talked with the community member to see how his Mods folder is being affected by the latest update. Today I’ve learned more on how CC Skin Tones and Makeup are being affected with the latest update!
Even though The Sims Team explained how these features will work even before today’s update it still wasn’t certain how they will affect the Custom Content community. I wonder how hard it would be to remove those freckles. The new Skin Tone and Makeup features that have been introduced with The Sims 4’s latest update have been long awaited. I'm not sure why he/she added such a defining personal feature to a skin unless it was meant for a specific sim! I wish there was a way to turn it off and I'd probably go for it.Īlso I've never seen this creator before or a tumblr with such a barren.tumblr lol. I didn't notice it until they tan and I don't mind it overall, until they tanned and because of its placement it ages the sims face and makes them look old. Thanks for the link, I actually really like that skin overlay BUT I really wish the creator hadn't put that line of freckles across the bridge of the nose. It's an old overlay, but cc-breaking-patch after patch, it remains functioning. My avi is wearing it, as are most of the Sims in the various screenshots I've posted for the last few years. I like it because it doesn't flatten out or change the shape of my Sims' features like a lot of the really matte ones do. No pics on their site, but if you Google images 'Grazeness Soft Fairy', you'll see what it's like.
I'm using Grazeness Soft Fairy (the two at the bottom in the 'Skins' section, one for females, one for males). Which are you using if you mind me asking? Thats interesting, so far every skin overlay I've tried completely overshadows the aging effects and I've tried SOOO many. The one I use doesn't break the aging overlays, although it does lessen their effects slightly - but I can still tell my Sims are young adults, adults and elders.
